Due to its exceptional appearance, Silk filament is currently the best-selling product among 3D filaments for 3D printing. When printing with Silk filament, you can expect a shiny and silky finish on the final product, which is not only aesthetically appealing but also successfully conceals the transitions between layers.
Silk filament for 3D printing is a versatile, easy-to-use material and is usually used in 3D printing. Silk Filament is a special mix of material with certain additives, and can be 3D printed in much the same way as normal PETG.
For good results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 220-240°C and the printing table should be heated to 80°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.
Our Silk filament for printers is specially designed to make it easy to use for all beginners and novices. It is accessible, easy to use and a good material because it has excellent properties and it does not shrink when printing.
In addition, it fits nicely to the printing table. Silk filament is a material that is distinguished by an amazing gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.
Our Silk filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers, including RepRap and MakerBot printers, Ultimaker, Bits from Bytes, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, Bukobot, Type A Machines and many more.

Printed small sample cards of all the silk colours. Nice look and most of the silk colours printed easily with good results. For some reason this particular colour (silk sand) didn't want to adhere to the bed at all. It took 5 or 6 tries to get the first layer to stick at all and I was almost throwing it away. Being stubborn, I gave it a final try, which worked. The result was not as good as the others but kind of ok. I then threw it away, as it was too much hassle. Not sure if it was this particular sample or if the colour is different. I did not specifically try to dry it, but all of the samples were straight out of the package and should be fine? All were printed with the same settings and about half the colours worked as a dream. The other half needed another try but, then worked without further problems with very good print quality, but the sand was a pain in the butt. Really nice results and I highly recommend the silk filaments (apart from this one, but maybe someone has more luck). Instead of writing a review for each colour I give four stars for the group of them (1 for "silk sand" and 4-5 for the rest of the colours)
